Communications Director

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and ambitious person to lead our fantastic Communications Team in exposing threats to rights and freedoms to the spotlight of public scrutiny through the press, social media and our website.

You will forge collaborative partnerships, reach new audiences, influence across the political spectrum, maintain and grow Liberty’s high profile, and keep Liberty at the cutting edge of digital communications.

Media Officer

Liberty’s Communications Team works closely and collaboratively with journalists, other organisations and campaigners to promote our work, expose and challenge injustice and amplify the voices of people directly affected by the issues we campaign on. We have a large and engaged online audience via our website and social media channels. 

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and creative Media Officer with excellent written and oral communication skills, a sound understanding of what makes a good story and an ability to translate complex human rights issues into clear, compelling and accessible press and social media content that resonates with a diverse range of audiences.
