Gracie Bradley appointed Liberty Interim Director

Posted on 21 Jul 2020

Today we have announced the appointment of Liberty’s Interim Director while Martha Spurrier takes parental leave this autumn.

After a rigorous recruitment process, Gracie Bradley will step up from her current role within Liberty for nine months from October 2020.

Gracie has been our Policy and Campaigns Manager for the past three years and has worked closely with Martha and the Senior Leadership Team on developing the organisation’s strategy.

Being the Director of Liberty is a sought-after role and we had many brilliant applications and a very competitive field. In every step of the process – and throughout her career at Liberty – Gracie has demonstrated she not only has the experience, intelligence, vision and clarity of thought to lead the organisation, she is also passionate about making the UK a place where everyone is treated fairly, with dignity and respect.

This is a crucial time for human rights in the UK, and we are all excited to see where Gracie takes the organisation.

If you are a member of the press, you can organise media interviews with Gracie Bradley once she enters her new post in October. Please contact the Liberty press office to arrange on 07973 831 128 / pressoffice@libertyhumanrights.org.uk .
