This year, Liberty is once again taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge – the UK’s biggest match-funding campaign. It’s your opportunity to double your impact and help more people across the country understand and defend their human rights.

From 12pm Tuesday 2 December to 12pm Tuesday 9 December 2025, every donation made through our Big Give donation page will be doubled, at no extra cost to you.

Every pound you give will go directly to our Human Rights Legal Information Service – a vital resource that helps people understand their rights and stand up to power.

Liberty is one of the only organisations in the UK offering free, expert human rights training and accessible legal information. Our dedicated team keeps the public informed and feel able to exercise their rights through:

• A comprehensive online information hub, updated with clear guidance on changing laws.
• Tailored in-person training and individual support for communities across the country, including young people, activists, disabled people, students, and homelessness groups.
• The creation and distribution of accessible legal resources such as leaflets, bust cards and guides.
• So far this year, our team has delivered more than 40 know your rights workshops and training sessions to over 700 people and distributed over 2,000 resources – empowering individuals and communities to protect their rights.
